2010 Visa Lottery (DV2010) is now up and running

The Diversity Visa Lottery is one of the few ways that people who don’t have relatives in the US or offers of employment  can obtain permanent residence.

Instructions can be found at the Department of State’s website. Unfortunately, people born in Brazil are not eligible, due to the high rate of Brazilian immigration to the United States.

Applications are done via internet and will be accepted through noon, EST, December 1, 2008.
